One of University of California Santa Cruz's two main galleries, the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery features contemporary art and collections of historic interest. An annual exhibit is the "Exemplary Contemporary", a competition open to Northern California artists and UC students and alumni. Gallery hours through the academic year are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
