Fair Oaks

Fair Oaks, California is an unincorporated community of about 40,000 people as of 2002. This is an uncrowded town of rolling hills and oak, palm, olive, orange and almond trees. Fair Oaks' appeal is only enhanced by the nearby American River, Nimbus Dam and Lake.

Fair Oaks is in the heart of the San Juan District, named after an old Mexican land grant on the north bank of the American River - the San Juan Rancho.

Fair Oaks has now become largely suburban to Sacramento, but still retains its own individuality. It boasts numerous retail establishments and shops.

Fair Oaks is located in Sacramento County.
