Fashion Valley is centrally located in Mission Valley off
Interstate 8. Along with a brand new 18-screen theater and a 10-restaurant food court, up to 100 new specialty and retail shops have been created on a second level above the main mall to add to the established 145 stores, restaurants and theaters. The center has incorporated two levels during an extensive expansion and renovation that provides an easy accessible shopping experience.
The design is based on Mission style architecture, which imitates the buildings constructed by the Franciscan Friars as they colonized California. The Grand Staircase on either side of the motor court, the main northern entry, and the Portal Trellis situated at Town Square capture the spirit of the Mission architects.
