Fern Canyon is located at the end of Gold Bluffs Beach Road at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Take Davidson Road just north of Orick. Deceptively tame herds of Roosevelt Elk are found at Prairie Creek and at the beach, frequently offering close-up views of these magnificent animals.
