Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Marin Civic Center in 1957. The Civic Center is mainly office building and the building sports exterior stucco walls in a modern design. The building is a national historic landmark, open Monday through Friday with docent-led tours on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Groups can tour by appointment. There is a gift shop offering museum quality items, books, and jewelry by local artists.
