Gridley

Located in the heart of Sacramento Valley at the floor of the world's smallest mountain range, the Sutter Buttes, you will find the community of Gridley. Gridley is a small agricultural community. Still small enough to provide a quiet country lifestyle, Gridley is large enough to offer the amenities and conveniences of a larger city.

Located in the middle of Gridley is 36 shady acres for annual events such as the NorCal Dog Show, RV rallies, auto shows, mule and horse shows, rodeos, and concerts. The main event of the year, would be the Butte County Fair & Sportsman's Expo held each year in August.

Gridley was founded by pioneer sheep raiser, George W. Gridley. He made his way west around 1850. Gridley was established in 1870. The City was incorporated in 1905.

This suburb of Marysville is located off Highway 99, north of Live Oak. Gridley is part of the Chico-Paradise, California metro area.
