Half Moon Bay State Beach

Half Moon Bay State Beach is actually four small beaches, with a total of two miles of sandy shore. The park features a trail for horseback riding that runs behind the beach, parallel to the ocean frontage. There are private stables located nearby that rent horses for rides along the beach. While swimming is not advised, the beach is popular for camping, picnicking, surfing and surf fishing.

The beach is located one half mile west of Highway One on Kelly Avenue in Half Moon Bay.
