California Baptist University was opened on September 18, 1950 under the name California Baptist College. The College gained University status on September 25, 1998.
The 80-acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.
