California Baptist University was opened on September 18, 1950 under the name California Baptist College. The College gained University status on September 25, 1998.The 80-acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains. CBC is located in Riverside, Riverside County, CA, with a total enrollment of about 2000. There are 30 programs leading to bachelors degrees and masters degrees.
