Compton Community College was established in 1927 as a component of the Compton Union High School District. In 1933 the campus was devastated by a major earthquake which struck the region, leaving two buildings standing.
Students have a choice of majors including Business,Communications and Humanities, Family Studies Fine Arts and Nursing, to name but a few. Compton is also proud of their Honors Program.
CCC is located in Los Angeles County and has a total enrollment of about 4000. Their programs lead to Associates degrees and Certificates of Accomplishment.
