Graduate Theological Union

The Graduate Theological Union is an extraordinary environment for theological education, widely recognized as the most successful theological consortium in the country. Through the combined resources of nine seminaries representing a broad range of Roman Catholic orders and Protestant denominations and through faculty resources in Jewish, Buddhist, and Orthodox studies, over 700 courses are offered each year. Six of the schools are so close that the area in which they are located is known as "Holy Hill." This neighborhood is right next to the campus of the University of California at Berkeley where GTU students may also take classes and use the libraries. "Holy Hill" overlooks the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, and sits in the middle of an area of cultural excitement and environmental beauty.

GTU is located in Alameda County, CA, and has a total enrollment of about 360.
