The Mendocino Community College District was formed in September 1972. In 1981 the name of the District became Mendocino-Lake Community College District to better reflect the geographical area being served.
Mendocino College is located in Ukiah, Mendocino County, CA, and has a total enrollment of about 3400. Their programs, including Ceramics, Culinary Arts Management and Textiles, lead to Associates degrees.
Mendocino College supports the following intercollegiate teams: Women's softball, volleyball, cross country and track and field. Men's football, baseball, basketball, cross country and track and field.
