For close to 30 years Saybrook Graduate School's mode of education has been what these days is referred to as distance education. Because of the unique mix of mentorship, on-site residential programs, and internet access, the Saybrook model permits close contact between faculty and learners, and among learners.
Advanced studies in Psychology, Human Science, and Organizational Systems are structured to meet the personal and professional needs of adult learners and persons not able or willing to travel to fixed classrooms. Using course guides, students complete coursework in guided independent study, encouraged and evaluated by faculty who communicate by phone, letter, fax, computer, or in person at conferences.
Saybrook is located in San Francisco (San Francisco County), CA, and has an enrollment of about 525.
