The Antelope Valley Indian Museum is located in the Mojave Desert. This folk art structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Indian Valley Museum features displays and data relating to the rich traditions of mining, ranching and logging in the area. The museum has a collection of artifacts from the 1850s to present, representing the settling of the Indian and Genesee Valleys. Mining equipment is on display outside.

Authentic Native American Indian hand crafted jewelry, kachina dolls, pottery, and rugs are for sale in the museum's gift shop.

The museum also has a gallery/theatre where on some weekends during October through June the museum offers a variety of educational programs including: docent guided tours, films, lectures, and nature walks.

The museum is open to the public every weekend from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. from the end of September through the middle of June. There is a museum fee of $1.00 for adult and free for children.
