The Japanese Gardens of Hayward, California encompass more than three acres of Japanese and native California trees, rocks, and plants. All the gardens are arranged in the traditional Japanese style. The area also includes a small pond containing koi and goldfish, as well as a teahouse and sitting areas.
The gardens are located on Third Street off of Crescent Avenue.
Open daily, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and admission is free.
