Woodminster Summer Musicals is a classic open air performance facility which was constructed as a WPA project and dedicated in 1940 to California writers. The musicals are performed in Woodminster Amphitheater and it sells the highest number of individual tickets of any resident performing arts organization in the city. The setting is beautiful Joaquin Miller Park, which is home to picnic grounds, miles of hillside trails, and one of the only urban second-growth redwood groves in existence.
