The extensive collections of the Greater Los Angeles Museum of Art are housed in a five-building complex. Included are works of painting, sculpture, costumes, textiles and decorative art from around the world. More than 150,000 individual pieces are in the collection.

The museum produces more than 30 exhibitions each year, in addition to concerts, film programs, and lectures. Guided tours are offered.

Pay parking is available. The museum is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. It is open Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. And the museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The museum is closed on Wednesdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Call for admission prices. The second Tuesday of each month is free to all.
