Leggett

In Mendocino County, Leggett, Population: 345, is located at the junction on Highway 101 and Highway 1. Leggett is a popular tourist destination and stop-over, being about 6 hours north of San Francisco. Many travellors use this community as a base camp while exploring the California north coast.

To the north, further up HWY 101, are the famous Smithe Redwoods State Park and Richardson Grove State Park. To the west on HWY 1 are many coastal state parks and many miles of beach on the Pacific Ocean.
