Located across the McCloud River Arm of
Shasta Lake in the
Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity Natl Rec Area, the caverns are reached by exiting from
Interstate 5 at O'Brien and taking a short drive and a ferry. Round-trip boat and bus transportation is provided. Food is available. Tours are conducted daily year round except Christmas and Thanksgiving, although less frequently in the winter season.
