For over 18 years, this theater has helped foster the African American artistic and cultural legacy by producing more than 55 plays by prominent black writers of the past and present.
The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre is a 300-seat, state-of-the-art theatre located in downtown San Francisco's theatre district.
The building is located in the early 20th Century YWCA's landmark building and the Sheehan Hotel.
