Los Alamitos is conveniently located at the junction of the I-605, I-405 and 22 Freeways, with the 91 Freeway just five miles to the north and the I-710 seven miles to the west. The town is located five minutes from Long Beach Airport and less than thirty minutes from both John Wayne/Orange County Airport and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Approximately ten miles to the west are the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Visitors will find excellent dining and recreational opportunities in Los Alamitos. This suburb is located south of Norwalk off Interstate 605. Los Alamitos is part of the Orange County, California metro area.
