Los Altos is located along the Foothill Expressway in Santa Clara County and is part of the San Jose, California metropolitan area. Los Altos is an up-scale bedroom community a few miles south west of Stanford University. The area boasts the finest in California weather. The town of Los Altos has a compact and busy downtown with a myriad of shops and services available.
The larger cities of San Jose and San Francisco are easily accessable via both Highway 101 and Interstate 280.
