Hoag Hospital, located in
Newport Beach, California, is an acute-care, not-for-profit community medical center serving Southern California and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years. When the hospital opened on September 15, 1952, there were 75 beds, 68 staff physicians and 60 employees. Today, Hoag Hospital has 409 beds, a medical staff of more than 800 and nearly 3,000 employees.
