Memorial Hospital of Gardena has served the community since 1952. Since the HEALTHPLUS + acquisition in 1999 there has been significant remodeling to the community facility. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations accredits Memorial Hospital Gardena. Their services include perinatal, coronary care, intensive care, basic emergency, outpatient services, nuclear medicine, mobile unit - MRI, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and respiratory care. In addition, they specialize in comprehensive perinatal services program (CPSP) and level II emergency services including pediatric (EDAP). Memorial Hospital of Gardena has 173 licensed beds. The hospital has 7,400 inpatient admissions and over 30,000 outpatient visits a year.Memorial Hospital of Gardena strives to deliver quality health care to the culturally diverse community it serves.
