Community Hospital of Long Beach (CHLB), founded in 1924, was closed in September 2000 and through an organized grassroots effort reopened in June 2001. CHLBs vision is to be the communitys preferred health care provider, where physicians and family are partners in wellness. CHLB offers personalized services with a focus on excellence, compassion, commitment, integrity, teamwork and equality.
