This suburb is located on the easternmost part of
Greater Los Angeles, east of
Pasadena on Interstate 210. The City of Monrovia is located in the San Gabriel Valley approximately 15 miles Northeast of downtown
Los Angeles.
Monrovia offers its citizens a wide range of cultural activities, including the annual Monrovia Arts Festival in October, the Monrovia Historical Museum, the Mothers Day Old Homes Tour, the weekly summer Concerts in the Park series and soon an Annual Jazz Festival.
Monrovia is part of the Los Angeles-Long Beach, California metro area.
