In May of 1898, J. Monteverde, with son James, started erection of a building on Randolph street for a grocery store. This is a turn-of-the-century store. The store is open Thursday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m for tours. Admission to the store is by donation.
