Moss Landing State Beach

Moss Landing State Beach features offshore fishing and horseback riding trails. The beach is also popular with surfers and windsurfers. Offering coastal views and dune protection from afternoon winds, the beach is favorite place for picnics. Bird watching is also popular since the area is an important stop along the Pacific Flyway.

Camping is available for self-contained vehicles. Water recreation is hazardous because of strong rip tides. The beach is located on Jetty Road in Moss Landing, 16 miles north of Monterey on Monterey Bay.
