The Museum of Flying, located in
Santa Monica, California, houses a rare collection of World War II fighter aircraft. The majority of the aircraft within the collection are in flight ready condition. The collection includes more than 30 vintage aircraft, and are maintained at the museum, located on the site where Donald Douglas built the first DC-3. The museum features "Airventure," an interactive flight area.
