The Napa Valley Museum features the Valley's only interactive wine exhibit, 'California Wine: The Science of an Art.' This museum traces the complete wine-making process using 26 video disc players, 9 micro computers, 24 monitors, and 11 audio speakers into glowing three dimensional panels.

The Napa Valley Museum is dedicated to promoting the cultural and environmental heritage of the Napa Valley. The changing exhibits represent a diverse range of subjects from fine arts to history to natural sciences. They are committed to presenting exhibits that will entertain and educate the local community and visitors from around the world.

The museum is open daily, excluding Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Horseracing was part of that first fair and has continued to be a part of the fair ever since.
