Mountain Biking in Nevada County

Nevada County is consistently rated as the best area in the nation for both road and mountain biking. Several top professional mountain and road bike racers live and train here year round due to the mild climate and abundance of quality roads and trails. Along with the mountain and BMX bike competition series, Nevada County hosts the Annual Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Classic, the second oldest road race in the nation and considered as the closest event to a true European race. Past winners including Greg LeMond, travel here each year for a chance to add their names to the record book.
