North Fork

North Fork is a 135 year old mill town. This small town is the headquarters of the Mariposa/Minarets Ranger Districts of the US Forest Service. It is also the traditional home of the Mono people who have lived in this area for centuries.

Many lakes including Shaver Lake, Bass Lake and Huntington Lake are nearby and provide many recreational oportunities.

This small recreational community is located northeast of Fresno off Highway 168. There is also a North Fork, Idaho.

North Fork is part of the Fresno, California metro area.
