Oceano

Oceano is located in San Luis Obispo County, which is ideally situated on the beautiful Central Coast, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Visitors and residence will experience a pleasant, Mediterranean-like climate year-round, averaging 315 days of sunshine per year. Oceano has a rainy season generally falling between the months of January and April.

There are many things to do in Oceano and the surrounding communities. There are many camping grounds, state parks, and lakes that provide endless outdoor recreation opportunities. Many of the surrounding communities are home to some of the best antique and specialty shops in the region. Visitors can also visit the nearby Hearst Castle, home of the media tycoon William Randolph Hearst. The home is located in San Simeon, just a short drive from Oceano.

Oceano is a community on Highway 1, just off Highway 101, south of San Luis Obispo on the Central California Coast.

Oceano is part of the San Luis Obispo-Atascadero-Paso Robles metro area.
