Old Nevada Brewery & Restaurant is located at the foot of historic downtown Nevada City, the brew pub occupies an original stone building that served as a brewery from 1857 until Prohibition. The brewery features a steam-fired 15-barrel Liquid Assets system purchased from the now-defunct Brewers Beer House.

On the first floor, the pub area is a lively setting focused around the bar, serving taps, several televisions, and a more casual food menu with such favorites as onion rings, nachos, individual pizzas, salads and sandwiches. During the summer, the pub atmosphere extends to an outdoor patio behind the building. On the second floor is the pub's fine-dining experience. With the tops of the brewing tanks visible along one wall, the room features white table clothes and quiet background music.

Open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. until midnight, and until 2:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Old Nevada Brewery & Restaurant is conveniently off Highway 49.
