Point Reyes Station owes its name to the railroad that ran through for 59 years ending in 1933. Point Reyes Station is a small town that has several charming shops and restaurants.

Point Reyes Station is located north of San Francisco between Bodega Bay and Sausalito along Highway 1 near the Necasio Reservoir and Drakes Bay.

Located in western Marin County on Highway 1, Point Reyes Station is where you turn off the highway to reach the Point Reyes Lighthouse in Point Reyes National Seashore.
