Pomona

Pomona prides itself as an economical leader in the state of California. Pomona had over 7000 jobs created in FY 1999-2000. Pomona also prides itself on its rich history and culture, with more than 3000 historic buildings. The city displays this pride in more than 15 art galleries representing over 1000 artists, along with many museums. Pomona is home to more than 450 antique dealers.

Pomona is in proximity to seven renowned universities, community colleges and vocational schools educating more than 95,000 students in the area.

Pomona is located in Los Angeles County 15 miles east of the city of Los Angeles and between Covina and Riverside. Pomona is about 10 miles south of Angeles National Forest on Hwy-60.
