Rialto is located in San Bernardino County. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 83,933, an increase of 11,538 since 1990. The City of Rialto lies in the west portion of the San Bernardino Valley, due west of the County Seat. Rialto is sixty miles to the east of Los Angeles and 103 miles north of San Diego. Rialto was incorporated in the spring of 1911. Accommodations in Rialto include the Best Western Empire Inn and a Travelodge. Rialto is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino, California metro area.
