Koerner and Joan Rombauer founded this family owned and operated winery in 1982. The building is nestled into a forested knoll off the Silverado Trail just north of
St. Helena, California.
The winery was constructed partially into the hillside to take advantage of the natural cave-like environment and atmosphere for its aging wines.
Rombauer Vineyards produces Carneros Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfadel.
Rombauer Vineyards is located north of St. Helena, 2.5 miles north of the intersection of Deer Park Road and the Silverado Trail. Rombauer Vineyards' primary focus is the production of ultra-premium Napa Valley and Carneros varietals. The Retail Sales Room is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tours and tasting are available by appointment.
