Rose Bowl

Located in Brookside Park, the Rose Bowl is famous for the annual New Years Day college football contest between two champions of the Pacific Conference and the Big 10. It also hosts the home games of University of California at Los Angeles and other sporting events throughout the year. The Rose Bowl is known mainly for the New Year's Day football game, but other events have called on the Rose Bowl to host their events. Besides hosting five NFL Super Bowl Games and the Men's World Cup in 1994, the Rose Bowl has hosted the Women's World Cup in 1999, Major League Soccer (L.A. Galaxy), Fourth of July celebrations, concerts, religious services, and the world's largest flea market (R.G. Canning). The Rose Bowl is open to the public for viewing most weekdays for $2.
