The Sacramento Zoo is featuring a new leopard exhibit and an extensive exotic cat collection. The zoo also features an extensive primate collection. Over 40 endangered or threatened animal species are housed in the Sacramento Zoo. The zoo is located on 14 acres and guests have access to free parking. Admission fees are charged, please call to verify rates.
The zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas. There are extended summer hours from June 1 through Labor Day from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sometimes there are free days, please call to inquire.
