San Elijo State Beach

Located on the San Diego Coast, San Elijo offers swimming, surfing and picnicking. The narrow, bluff-backed stretch of sand has a nearby reef popular with snorklers and divers.

The beach extends along old Hwy 101 3/4 mile north from the San Elijo Lagoon entrance channel, near the community of Cardoff-by-the-sea. Beach hours are from dawn until dusk.
