Since 1987, the Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center was a committee of the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County. In November of 1997, the organization became its own non-profit corporation registered with Federal and State governments. This community non-profit art center is dedicated to supporting local art and artists, as well as the artistic culture of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The center is providing education, display and sales of art to the public.
