Located in the center of
Balboa Park, the museum has a permanent collection of Italian Renaissance works, Spanish baroque old masters, contemporary California art, and works by American, Asian and American Indian artists.
The museum is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Tours of the museum are given daily.
