Seadrift is a gated community consisting of approximately 320 waterfront homes that are individually owned. Seadrift was established in the early 1960's as a second home community. All of the homes have fireplaces, barbeques, and well-equipped kitchens. Most of those homes also have some type of boat to get out in the water. Large groups are possible only on a limited basis, although there are facilities within the community of Stinson as well as nearby Bolinas that can accommodate more for a special occasion.

Ocean or lagoon front homes are available for weekend or weekly rentals. The ocean is always ideal for surfers, kayakers and swimmers.
