Seal Beach is the home of Leisure World, a gated senior citizen community of approximately 7-10,000 persons. The Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station comprises 2/3 of the land within the City and is a major employer of the Seal Beach population.Seal Beach's natural beauty, mild climate, and rich history, make it a destination worth exploring. A short 20 minute drive takes you to Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm. Seal Beach is located in Orange County between Long Beach and Huntington Beach along Highway 1 on the banks of the San Gabriel River near San Pedro Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
