Shoshone

Shoshone is located in Inyo County. Situated on the southeastern edge of Death Valley National Park, is the small village of Shoshone. The town is a green oasis complete with warm spring fed swimming pools, an inn, a restaurant, an RV park, a store, a museum, and a gas station. Shoshone has a rich and colorful history as a railroad town and a rich mining district. Natural wonders abound and scientists from all over the world come to study the unusual treasures in and around town.
