The Company was originally The Sloat Lumber Company a small logging line out of Sloat, California. The company was located eleven miles southeast of
Quincy along the Western Pacific route following the Middle Fork of the Feather River. The Sloat Lumber Co. started operations in 1917.
The Sloat Mill Company offers one-hour, two-hour and half-day trail rides. Wagon rides are also available by appointment on the weekends. Please call for more information.
