This coastal community is located just north of San Diego off Interstate 5. The City of Solana Beach is located on the northern coast of Greater San Diego. The City is bounded on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by San Elijo Lagoon and the City of Encinitas, and on the south by the Cities of Del Mar and San Diego.
