A modern winery sits behind one of the most historic Queen Anne Victorian mansions in the Valley and St. Supery has turned the mansion into a museum of Napa Valley history. Known as the Atkinson House, the Victorian has been faithfully restored and is maintained as a living museum of the 1880s. It is open to the public as part of a guided tour that also includes an exhibition vineyard near the mansion and a visit to the winery's tour gallery exhibits that trace wine production from grape to bottle. The tour ends with conducted tasting of St. Supery wines.
There is a nominal charge for tasting. The winery's owners are the Robert Skalli family of France. The name, St. Supery, honors one of the early owners of the winery property, French winemaker Edward St. Supery.
