Black Bear Inn is a bed and breakfast. It features five guest rooms and three cabins. Each lodge room has a private bath, one king bed, river rock fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD, telephone, and daily maid service. The cabin rooms are Bonanza Trail, Sutter, and Snowshoe Thompson. The Bonanza Trail is a duplex cabin housing the Stagecoach and Black Bart rooms. Each room has its own entrance, kitchenette, and bath. The Snowshoe Thompson cabin has a living room, rock fireplace, kitchenette, two-person Jacuzzi tub, and large walk-in tile shower. The Sutter cabin has two bedrooms, one bath, kitchenette, a living room, and river rock fireplace. A full breakfast is served to the guest daily. Wedding facilities are provided. Golf, tennis, inline skating, horseback riding, fishing, cross-country skiing, and hot air balloon rides are outdoor activities. Virginia City, Squaw Valley, and Kirkwood are nearby.
