Tulelake

Tulelake is a small town in Northern California where one can visit museums with rich history, explore beautiful state and national parks, or simply sit back and relax. Walk the paths of the ancients as you explore 21 caves, part of the Lava Beds National Monument where the last major Indian battle in California took place. Wonder at the ancient petroglyphs and see the site of the Newell Japanese Internment Camp south of Newell. Come view extraordinary wildlife such as mule deer, antelope, coyote, bobcat, quail and pheasant.

Tulelake is located in Siskiyou County just south of the Oregon state line along Highway 139 on the banks of the Klamath River near Tule Lake and the Lower Klamath Lake.
